Website Redesign Quote Generator: Build a Scope-Based Estimate

Use the website redesign quote and proposal generator to explore a structured project estimate. Enter the scope, review the example tiers and adapt the output to your own delivery costs and client requirements.

The calculator is a planning tool for agency service quotes. Its figures are not Revamp subscription prices, a market survey or a quote issued by Revamp for building the client’s website.

Create a redesign estimate

The tool produces Lean, Standard and Premium examples with price and timeline ranges, deliverables, assumptions and a proposal draft you can copy or export.

Gather the inputs that affect the work

Before using it, identify:

  • The type of website and approximate page or section count.
  • Whether content is ready or needs writing.
  • The scope of the design change.
  • Existing content and URL migration needs.
  • Working features and connected tools.
  • Review responsibilities and timing.

If these are still unclear, use the discovery questions first.

Understand what the calculation represents

The tool uses preset complexity weights, assumed hours and example hourly rates. It does not inspect your actual business costs or calculate a verified market price from the website URL.

Treat the range as a draft to assess, not an answer to send unchanged. Replace assumptions that do not match the work, and check that selected features appear in the deliverables.

The currency options use fixed illustrative conversions, not live exchange rates.

Review scope before reviewing the total

Two quotes with the same page count may cover very different work. One might reuse approved content; another might include content cleanup, imported records and several customer journeys.

Check the scope worksheet against the draft:

QuestionWhat to confirm
What is the client receiving?Named pages, content and working features
What information must move?Sources, volume, access and review
What is included after launch?Updates, support and ongoing services
Who pays for connected services?Account and subscription responsibilities
What remains unknown?Decisions needed before a final quote

Adapt the example tiers

Use multiple options only when they represent real choices. A focused launch, a broader migration and an ongoing managed service can differ meaningfully. Renaming the same work “premium” does not explain the difference.

With Revamp, your agency can include bookings, customer accounts and connected workflows alongside the new design. Describe the customer experience each option provides, then account for your agency’s strategy, creative direction, review and ongoing service when setting the fee.

Keep platform costs separate

Your agency sets its client service fee. Revamp’s agency subscriptions cover the platform plan and allowances.

If the client is building their own website, the owner plans are the relevant comparison, not a multi-thousand-dollar agency estimate.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a fixed quote?

No. It is an illustrative calculation. Confirm the actual scope, costs and commercial arrangement before issuing a client quote.

How should we account for ongoing website work?

Describe the updates and support your agency will provide after launch, and price that service separately where appropriate. Include platform subscriptions and connected services in the arrangement so the client knows what continues each month.

Can I export a proposal as well?

Yes. The tool includes a proposal draft. Use the proposal guide to review the narrative and next steps before sending it.

Can we build the quoted website in Revamp?

Yes. Start with the client’s URL or a new brief, build the pages and working features, review the preview and publish the website in the same project.
